Dave Reid was born on May 15,1973 in the lovely and vibrant twin islands of Trinidad & Tobago. Dave has had a passion for music since he was a young boy when he pursued and mastered the art of the steel drum.

In 1994 Dave toured the United States with Our Boys Steel Orchestra. At the end of the tour he remained in California, performing as a solo artist. He then joined a band called Insomnia where he learned of his passion for singing and writing. After a brief period of success, the members of Insomnia parted to pursue their separate interests and Dave became the Musical Director and Lead Singer for Tambrin, the band he created.

Today you can find Dave Reid performing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area at night clubs, various concert events, restaurants and private functions.
