Do I have to pay for a profile on Trinidad Junction?
Not yet! For now, it's FREE, FREE, FREE to set up a profile. All you have to do is visit the Submit Your Stuff page for details on the submission process - it's simple, quick and FREE!

Do you have to be from T&T to be featured on the site?
Yes and No. Trinidad Junction is a new voice for TrinBagonian talent and as such, features the work of artists who are:
•  Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago by birth or by naturalization who are currently residing in T&T or living abroad
•  Of Trinidad and Tobago ancestry, i.e., one or both parent(s) are citizens of Trinidad and Tobago

Can anyone be featured on Trinidad Junction?
No. We only accept submissions from artists with some lineal connection to T&T (see above) and we only accept *bona fide artists whose work represents T&T well. Submissions that contain lewd, racist, violent, or obscene material will not be accepted. If you are not sure if your work falls into any of these categories, please contact the editor at editor@trinidadjunction.com for more guidelines.
* bona fide artist - a skilled public performer or entertainer (singer, dancer, musican or actor) as well as, a person with artistic pretentions like writers, authors, poets, painters, photographers, etc. , amateur or skilled.

How soon after submission will my Trinidad Junction page be ready to be viewed?
If a submission meets the necessary standards - outlined above - an artist's page will be ready the day after his / her work is submitted.

What is the benefit to an artist of having a Trinidad Junction profile page?
A Trinidad Junction page will give an artist:
•  A personalized Web space which includes a Trinidad Junction Web address (http://www.TrinidadJunction.com/ yourname.html)
•  A profile page for your picture, biography, work samples and contact info
•  Association with a highly credible and professional Web site brand name
•  Exposure to an international audience of arts supporters and potential employers
•  Access to a network of other supremely talented TrinBagonian artists
•  Free event listing (only for events that you are involved in)

Can I promote my event for free on Trinidad Junction?
Yes, if you're an artist profiled on Trinidad Junction and are taking part in / performing at the event you wish to promote.
No, if you do not have a profile on Trinidad Junction or if you are representing a private corporation.

Copyright Issues

Can I buy / download music on Trinidad Junction?
No. You can only listen to an artist's or group's songs on Trinidad Junction. If you wish to buy / download music, you must either contact the artist or group directly or go to the distributor source that has been designated on the artist's or group's Trinidad Junction page.

Since artists have samples of their work on their Trinidad Junction pages, is it okay to copy one of their paintings / literary pieces, etc. to feature in a blog or on another Web site?
No. As outlined in our Copyright statement, copying an artist's work is stealing and is strictly prohibited! If you wish to feature an artist's work, you MUST contact them directly - NO exceptions!
