He goes by the name Firestar; a 21 year old hip hop artiste / producer / song writer who is also the CEO of Trinidad and Tobago's newest hip hop act, Bling Squad Entertainment.

Firestar has been writing and producing music for almost two years now, but with his talent and lyrical skills, one would think that he's been around for much longer. Firestar plans to take his music to an international level and hopes to have a multi-platinum recording label under is name in the future, all the while still representing Trinidad and Tobago to the fullest.

Lisa Wickham, VP of the Copyright Organization of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT) and Host of Channel 6's E-Zone is aware of Firestar's potential and has already noted that he "is definitely a hot lyricist" and "has great things still to come his way."

Firestar is currently working in the studio - KMP in San Fernando and Third Degree Limited - and is in the process of mastering a number of singles that are carded for radio release throughout 2006 and 2007. These include the highly anticipated Love Me Like You, a slow, hip hop love story which he wrote and helped produce, and the colossal club banger, We Be Blazing. He is also working on his debut album, The Rising Star LP he hopes will be out in November 2006.

Firestar and Bling Squad Entertainment are certain of one thing: they are determined to make a name for themselves no matter the consequences and they are here to stay.
