I started off as an art student in Trinity College and from there went on to the John Donaldson Technical institute to further my tuition in Graphic Design. During that time I worked as a Sub-Editor with various publications between the Trinidad Guardian and Express newspapers.

Now, I freelance as an illustrator and Web Designer.

Advice to young artists
To young people looking to get into the creative industry, your best weapon is getting yourself knowledgeable about the industry both locally and internationally. Do a lot of reading and stay focused and disciplined on what you have to do.

Not many people favour the arts as a viable form of living so you sometimes have to work extra hard at what you do. Enjoy your craft.

Awards & Achievements
I have exhibited over the last 10 years, both in Trinidad and one joint exhibition in Connecticut in the US.

Recently I have exhibited with prints as an illustrator with Clico in 2005.
With music I have hosted a short series of open mic events called Zigwa with the producers Detnator.
