More about Junior Don...
Reggae has been Junior Don's biggest influence growing up & eventually Dancehall) coming from his Uncle Cerf; one of the founding members of the Rastafarian group "the Twelve Tribes of Israel" inTrindad, also a member of "Sound Revolution." His first performance was at the age of ten. He then started writing in simple Jamaican patois at age 13 to the model of Dancehall tracks (most popular genre for that generation).

Junior Don then started entering competitions at age 15. He became the seven-time Undisputed Dancehall champion at then most popular club in the country "The Base" between 1997-1999 which included a 45 minute clash between himself and now critically acclaimed Caribbean Artist "Dawg E Slaughter." They split the prize.

This almost lead to a clash between himself and Ragga-Soca king "Bunji Garlin", an up and coming (well known on the streets) artiste at the time the night before the "Bounty killer, Beenie Man, Busta Rhymes Concert" after winning their groups respectively. They were about to face off but were then halted by their guest appearance.

Junior D then moved to Europe, namely Sweden in 2001 and made his first professional recordings. He started performing with then most popular Hip-Hop/RandB group "Blacknuss" and also opened for Jamaican Reggae Artise "Bush Man." He went on to release a single with "Blacknuss" artiste "Swing" called "It´s Alright" and then formed "Exodus Sound System" with well known "DJ Shagga" but eventually moved to London.

The Don has since been bouncing between London and Munich (Germany) for the past 5 years, in and out of studio with producers "Tommy Gunn" and "MCY" from Munich and "Boy Wundah" based in London (from Trinidad) and has built up an impressive array of songs ranging from Dancehall and Reggae to Soca to Hip-Hop and even RandB with a ragga touch which could probably comprise up to five albums.

In Munich J Don has opened for the Ruff Ryders, Fat Joe and his Terror Squad, T.I., Red Man, and even the pioneer of Hip-Hop Djs "Grandmaster Flash"; also Jah Mason, Million Styles and as mentioned before Bush Man (in Sweden) performed in Austria, Switzerland, London (Tudor Rose), Turkey and Eygpt. He also Represented Trinidad and Tobago at the official Fifa World Cup Cultural event last year in Germany.

Known as probably the Number 1 Urban Club MC in Munich, he is also a song writer for Publishing Company MCY Music (Universal) for RandB artistes in London, Turkey, Holland and Germany. Junior Don has been offered a personal publishing deal with MCY and a distribution deal in Holland.

BBC 1XTRA was ringing out his tune "One Caribbean" in 2004/2005 on the J A Katana show . In late 2005 he also received some airplay for "Ready for de game" featuring General Grant on Trinidadian airwaves which also got some love from radio stations in London in 2006.

Looking to the future, Junior Don says, "You see me, I grow up under Reggae and dancehall and dem vibes, so it engrave in me soul, but with the modernization of Soca I really grown to love the artform so now its in my heart. Heart, Mind and Soul combine; dem cyar leave the Dappa behind, Scene, is all Caribbean music so Im just gonna be me, Lets push de unity..
