La Shaun began training in modern dance in 1993 with the La Chapelle Dance Company. She has performed with the Joyfour Dance Company, Trinity Dance Theatre of Trinidad and Tobago (TDT), the Metamorphosis Dance Company, Dave Williams' Standing Room Only, and the Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre. She has represented the country in Caracas, Maraicaibo on two occasions as well as for Carifesta in St. Kitts.  She holds an intermediate certificate in Classical Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance.

Achievements & Awards
Currently a board member of the recently established Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment Company (TT Ent_ and the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (TTFC).
Past performances include the 3canal Bacchanal Show 2007, the locally staged Broadway production "Jesus Christ Super Star," Repertory Dance Theatre "Astor I and II" and Flamenco Solo Flamenco "Being Dante"
