More about Marcus...
Marcus has been involved in music for 23 years, honing his talent as a Panman and sharing his gift with others.

Over time, he moved from a box in in the back of a steelband (because he was too short), to the box in front. He is now an Steelpan Arranger and Composer.

Marcus has arranged music for many bands, including, the Simple Song Steel Orchestra, Sangre Grande Junior Secondary School and the Pan Stereonettes, to name a few.

For Marcus, music is a way of life. He teaches music professionally, is an Officer with the TTCF and is Presenter on the Radio Station 94.7 FM. He is constantly surrounded by music.

When asked what inspires him most, Marcus replies, "It's a gift from God. I was destined to do this."

Advice to young aspiring artists
"To anyone trying to follow..pray and be patient..what is for you will be for you.."

Achievements & Awards
- Performer and Student Leader with the University of the West Indies "Festival Steel Ensemble"
- In 2004, toured several parts of North Eastern United States (Massachussetts, Connecticut, North Carolina)
- In 2005, toured Martinique
