Screwface began singing when he was 13 years old when he entered a calypso competition held by Morvant Laventille Junior Secondary School and placed fourth. Since then he has sung in blockos held in the Morvant area and has also sung in the mosque which he attends.
Screwface has appeared on Trinidad & Tobago television channels IBN Channel 8, Gayelle and Synergy tv. He currently has a video in rotation on Synergy tv. His songs have also been played on Wack Radio 90.1.
Screwface is a positive youth who hopes to go far with his songs.
He knew that he wanted to become an artiste when he wrote his song Hardship and got a good response from his peers. He wanted all of T&T to hear what he had to offer so he started recording at a studio in Diego Martin and sought out people who were already in the business for advice.
His advise to someone who wants to become an artiste is to have plenty patience and to keep pushing for what he/she wants. _________________________________________________________________
